The reason why

The reason why the infinity can never be founded as a quantitative measurement is the fact that it is a digital plural, a sequence of increasingly hypothetical values. It is not a lump sum, a very large number, x, but an infinite number of very large numbers: x, x +1, x +2, x +3, and so on. For infinitely main window one thing, as a quantitative measure, then, is it the values of x and x +1 at the same time. But x +1 is by definition non-x. We think even May by the future, whether as a kind of potential magnitude (by the time extension as spatial units) or a multitude of potential (as counted in successive simultaneous units). Revolutions of the moon, for example, can be added one after the infinite, but at no time in the future, regardless of how far the number of revolutions in the infinity.
